Siavash Shekarian

Siavash Shekarian, the Founder and CEO of SHEKARIAN LAW PC, is a Kurdish-Iranian-Canadian lawyer and engineer. Siavash is an alumnus of both the engineering and law faculties of the University of Toronto in Canada. Siavash has been an avid activist all his life, having worked for different UN agencies like UNODC and UNICEF in Iran, and having represented civil society before national and international forums namely the CND meetings in Vienna. As a lawyer, Siavash has advised clients of all sizes both in the private and public sector and on a variety of high-profile international contracts and negotiations as well as representing clients before international forums like the PCA in Hauge, LCIA in London, and ICC in Paris. In his current practice, Siavash is focusing on advising and helping high-potential foreign entrepreneurs to immigrate to and grow their businesses in Canada. He is also heavily involved in advocating for better immigration policies in Canada through his work at the CBA, CILA and Better Canada Club.
